Firstly, sorry to let the skimboard community down for not working on this site for a couple months. I have had a rather busy life lately. Hopefully I will get it kicked off in 2009, but I’m still gonna need help managing the forum. I can’t do it all myself. =] If there are any skimboarding forum junkies out there, sign up on the forum and make a new post under Site Suggestions. Remember CLUBSKIM is strictly a non-profit organization, so your support is appreciated.
OK I Finally got the forum layout looking pretty decent. I got some countries and flags populated. I am still deciding on the forum structure and how information will be organized.
OK Folks. I currently got about 40 different languages installed on the upcoming forum. This should help to allow people in other countries to be able to read the buttons and stuff when they register. Hopefully I can get some kinda countries + flags package installed. I’m learning as I go along, but have no fear I learn fast. I won’t release this until I’m sure it’s ready to run smoothly.
Thanks to SkimCity and AKWA Industries for letting us link to them. Currently we are trying to get logos up for everyone and coordinate some affiliate linking. Soon this page should get filled up with more players in the skimboarding world.
A giant growing collection of skimboarding videos. We aim to add every skimboard video out there, and then create play lists for your convenience. Right now we only have about 20 of the nicer videos added - so in order to tackle this task, we shall have to think this through just a little more. Give it a week or so and it should be growing again. 
The discussion forum is currently being developed. It has been decided that phpbb will do the job. We are trying to setup the structure so that anyone in any country can talk to other skimboarders in their country. Basically every country gets its own forum. Aside that, there will be a buy sell classifieds section and other commonly anticipated forum areas. Hopefully we will finish setting up the basics within the next few weeks.
We extend a warm welcome to skim boarders around the world. ClubSkim.com is determined to take the online skimboard community further. Information on everything including manufacturers, schools, skim shops, skim lessons, places to skim, will be here. If you play an active part in the skim boarding community and want to be a part of ClubSkim then signup when we get our forum running. The first to come will get moderator rights. It is now May 2008 and we hope to promote the sport of skim boarding so that everybody knows about it and it gets the most coverage possible.
